Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant.

What are we about?

Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant in Kigali, Rwanda has been in operation since 2004 making it a long-standing and beloved establishment in the city. Our restaurant is named after the historic Lalibela church in a mountainous region in the heart of Ethiopia, about 645 km from Addis Ababa, where eleven medieval monolithic churches were carved out of rock. Our menu includes a wide variety of delicious traditional Ethiopian dishes as well as local and international foods. In line with the diversity of Ethiopian cuisine we offer vegetarian, vegan as well as meat-based meals and platters so we can almost guarantee that there is something for every palette. Some of our most popular dishes include Doro wot (a spicy chicken stew made with Ethiopian spices and organic hard-boiled eggs), Mesfin Tibs (named after the founder of the restaurant) and our famous Lalibela platter which is perfect for sharing. Our goal is to make you feel cozy and satisfied by serving you tantalizing meals that are prepared with great care and passion.
